Hi guys! This is my first time blogging and I’m really excited that its started off with Books! If there was anything that would make me blog this would be it.

I’ve been reading for as long as I can remember and before that mum would be reading to us. It was something that was always really encouraged in our household even when at first I struggled because I read too slow or couldn’t find the right reading material. It wasn’t until mum started homeschooling me that our book reading and writing of book reviews really pushed me in that direction and forced me to see all the different reading material out there.

Due to some learning difficulties my reading was something I struggled with but when I found The Naughtiest Girl In School by Enid Blyton my reading just soared from there…and yep with practice I became a much, much faster reader, becoming the crazy book-loving chick I am today. This should’ve given me a huge heads up from this alone that I would become obsessed with Academy stories – main preference now being Paranormal, Fantasy Genres instead though. Clearly I knew what I liked once I found it…Because I’m a wee bit obsessed with it.

Although YA Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, Mythology based books are my most sort out genres, I don’t like to limit or hold myself to just one reading genre alone. I will pretty much read most stuff, reading a bit of this and that. I love that mum made me read older english style books such as Scarlet Pimpernel, Seven Little Australians, Pride & Prejudice and many other older Authors like L.M. Montgomery, Mary Grant Bruce etc. I feel this has helped me read and understand different english styles in the writing world and appreciate books more.

Books are my life…I literally live and breathe them. Without books in my life I’d probably have gone insane from reality and its harshness. I dive into these worlds and they become everything. They become my friends, enemies, book boyfriends you name it.

But you’re probably thinking but why blogging…and honestly it was a fairly random thing for me to do. Yes I love reading and reviewing my books but it wasn’t until very recently that I started considering doing this and I’m honestly very nervous doing so but we will see what happens lol. But of recent I have been on many ARC teams and receiving copies of advanced books, when one of my top favourite Authors Heather Renee recently said “Hahahaha seriously girl you need a book blog because this is amazing lol go now and start one and people will follow!!! I heart you so much!!!” – And who was I to deny my masters wishes lol? So here I am fumbling my way through setting up a blog. Don’t judge guys this was waaay harder to design then I thought, I think my perfectionist side came out to play and it’s still not satisfied…but I figured lets start slow and add bits as I go along.

Anywho, let’s leave the rambling at that for now lol.

Thanks to all my book-loving friends out there for thinking I could do this and for Heather for giving that one final nudge in the direction. This is all your doing and I hope you like it. 🙂

Please note this will probably be the most sane you will ever see me so be prepared this will be a very lighthearted and hopefully fun blog. I’m too crazy when it comes to books to sound anything but crazy and dramatic. You have been warned lol.
