Never Have I Ever…read a later book in a series before reading the first book

Umm, I actually have done this but it was a total accident! It was the Vampire Academy series and I had picked up the books from the library but obvi missed grabbing one in the process, without realising it. I remember being so lost and couldn’t understand what was happening. Who knows why I kept reading and didn’t check if I had the wrong book 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ ….but anyways, I got to like the middle of the book and was like ‘I’m totally missing something here’! Clearly was a bit slow 😂….but that’s when I realised I’d missed a book. I’d never intentionally do it because nope just nope.

I’d never burn a book! But if I were to…I’d probably go with Allegiant!!!! 😠 That book is dead to me lol.

Never Have I Ever…read a book I knew I would hate

I don’t think so. I’m thinking really hard right now haha.

I feel like there would’ve been a few study books I wasn’t too keen to read but I think it was more of a ‘I didn’t want to read it’ scenario rather than actually hating it in advance lol.

Never Have I Ever…wrote a fan-fiction about my favourite books

Definitely have never done that before or even thought about doing it. I’m usually pretty satisfied after reading the final book in a series…and I don’t want to potentially ruin it or even continue something, when the author has closed it. Yes, I hate to say goodbye to the characters but yeah my brain just isn’t wired that way. I haven’t even read fan-fiction before lol.

Never Have I Ever…loved a book when I was young, yet hated it when I got older

Actually, yeah. I remember really loving the Lorien Legacies Series as a kid. I did a reread ages ago and I was like, ‘okay, this is kinda meh’. Hate is a strong word though so I probably wouldn’t go that far. Then there was The Hush, Hush series…oh and Fallen by Lauren Kate. I also remember super enjoying these as a younger teen but the rereads just didn’t hold to that same standard. Which is always disappointing.

Never Have I Ever…dressed up as one of my favourite literary characters

No, I’ve never done this before. Never even dressed up before to be honest lol. Halloween isn’t a big thing here and even as a kid I was never huge on the whole dress-up parties either. I’m strange like that.

Never Have I Ever…hated a book by an author I love

That would be a no. I guess, I have less favourites but nope, I generally have liked all the books released by my fav authors.

Haha what sort of question is this? 😂 If any book dragon hasn’t done this before then I don’t know if I’d class you as such. Just sayin’. Never have I ever (did you see what I did there?😂) gone into a bookstore limiting myself to just one book. That’s just crazy talk.

Nope. Never. That messes with my OCD brain.

I sometimes take them off because I’m worried it’ll get ruined. So yes.

Never Have I Ever…skim read nearly half a book

Nah. I don’t like to do this. I don’t want to miss anything. But I can certainly read fast when I’m desperate to get the answers. Not skim reading though.

Happy to say that I have not! I hate marring the pages of my book. Never will I do this!
