Oblivion (A Lux Novel) Review

Rating: 10 out of 5.

Oblivion by Jennifer L. Armentrout

My rating: 5 of 5 ⭐️

Okay so I had this review written up on Goodreads and I just can’t cope with the normalcy of it…so I need to Sprouse (did you see what I just did there lol 😉 ) it up a bit and add some crazy to the mix. I couldn’t believe there wasn’t one gif! Not one! That’s just crazy and weird.

YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO

Teaser Tuesday

Soo I’m not actually reading any new books at the moment currently doing a re-red of the Lux series in prep of the new book Burning Shadow that comes out 8th October. So can it really be counted as a teaser if the books been out so long? lol

Whatever though let’s do it. Everyone loves Daemon. I know I do. 🙂 ❤

“Or…maybe you’re not aware of it?”
She shrugged again, and I couldn’t believe she didn’t see what I… Wait a second. She didn’t see what I saw? When had what I saw changed? Because I’d been thinking she was plain as hell. Sometimes above average when she was mad. Or smiling. Or blushing. But, well, mainly she was just average.
As I watched her cheeks pink up even more, I knew I’d been wrong…

…“You know what I’ve always believed?” I asked, stopping in the middle of the path.
She looked up at me, her eyes wide but not wary. “No.”
For a moment, I didn’t speak, and the only sound between us was the chirping of nearby birds as my gaze searched hers. “I’ve always found that the most beautiful people, truly beautiful inside and out, are the ones who are quietly unaware of their effect. The ones who throw their beauty around, waste what they have? Their beauty is only passing. It’s just a shell hiding nothing but shadows and emptiness.”

Obsidian (Lux Series 1) Review

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I just realised that after over 5 rereads I never gave this an actual review!

A book worthy of this many times being read definitely deserves more than just saying 5 ⭐️ right?! And plus I can’t ignore the one series that gave me many, many book-hangovers and one serious book boyfriend that you’ll never convince me to leave behind.
