Wow what a journey this book is. Has left me with so so many questions. Questions that I just need answered. This story has so much potential and growth and I’m totally here for it.
I loved the characters and can’t wait to see more of them. They are just all so loveable (the ones on the good side obvi lol). There’s so much intrigue with this story and how the characters grow through it all… and personally, I think, that in itself makes a story. So yaaas for amazing character creations!!
And man do these girls know what they are doing when they end this book. It leaves you NEEDING to keep going. You just have this urge to demand it be handed over, coz it can’t stop there. Answers are what you are focused on. It’s like they have been reeling you in slowly, as you progress through the story, before BAM you’re pulled in tight all the way…and now you’re just dangling off the line of that fishing hook, hopelessly and without a clue of what’s coming next. That’s the best analogy I could think of lol, if that helps any. 🤷🏻♀️😂
This is a story I definitely would recommend reading. It takes you on a journey of good, bad and that in between grey are. Where not all is as it seems. That sometimes the side you are on isn’t actually the side you choose. Confusing? Deliberately so. 😉
Enter into a world of demons and darkness where anything could happen.
Tatum has lived a normal life. Waiting tables to keep her and her grandma afloat. But when she starts seeing that monsters do in fact exist… she knows her world is about to turn on its axis. She’s brought into a world of Watchers, a society of earthbound angels, split into two faction. Dark (Shades) and light (Lumens) and Tatum only has a couple days to choose her side in this brutal war she has found herself in the middle of.
When she thinks she’s ready to lay her decision out there…is the moment she learns that they cursed the one thing she has in this life. And now it’s game on.

Hey, Hey my beautiful Ramblers!
This book has probably been my most anticipated read since I first heard of its release….and guys this book is everything
Yes, it needs it repeated twice because man I was attached to this book well…like a book nerd when you try to take their book off them…(I don’t suggest anyone try this out with a fellow book nerd… unless you want to see a whole new side to them #CrazyAlert lol). My point here is that I was 1000% invested and attached to everything going on within this story. To the point that by the end I had some serious emotions bubbling up in the back of my throat and my heart was beating so fast.Continue reading

I devoured this book! It was so incredibly captivating and BRUTAL. I couldn’t help it, I had to message Heather (sorry bout my crazy 😂, just remember you love me hehe), like to the point that if I didn’t, I would combust if I didn’t share my thoughts and rant and rave like a looney, lucky Heather is used to me by now, all my weirdness and all coz let’s face it…Continue reading
